LONDON, ENGLAND: Before his untimely death in October, Liam Payne was providing his girlfriend Kate Cassidy with a significant monthly allowance.
Reports indicate that the One Direction celebrity was shouldering as much as $35,000 monthly for the living expenses and lifestyle of the 25-year-old social media influencer.

Sources told Page Six that the singer provided Kate Cassidy with $10,000 a month for living expenses and allowed her to generously use his credit card for clothing and other purchases, which often amounted to about $25,000 monthly.
Cassidy frequently went shopping accompanied by Payne's long-term stylist and friend, Adele Cany, whose services were also financed by the singer, according to the source.
The 25-year-old began dating Payne in late 2022, and the couple moved into a rental home in Wellington, Florida, just weeks before the 31-year-old star tragically fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16.
The couple's expansive five-bedroom residence in Wellington, South Florida, was relisted for $9,950 per month at the end of October, TMZ reported.
“Kate has money of her own, so it’s not like she’ll have nowhere to be. She doesn’t have the money that Liam had, of course, but she’s not broke,” a close confidant of Cassidy's disclosed to Page Six.
The friend added, “She makes money through social media partnerships. She won’t be living the same lifestyle she was living with Liam, but she’s going to be OK.”
Kate Cassidy won’t have claim in Liam Payne's estate
Although Liam Payne's multi-million dollar will has not been disclosed, the friend asserted that Cassidy will not attempt to claim any portion of it.
“She says she’s not going to claim anything from his estate because they weren’t married and he has a son,” the friend said while referring to Bear, Payne's 7-year-old son with singer Cheryl Cole.
“It’s not hers to claim. Of course, [Payne’s death causes] a financial setback, but her sadness has nothing to do with the money — she’s sad that she lost Liam. The money doesn’t matter in comparison. But she’ll have to move and regroup, and she’ll find a new place to live as she heals,” a friend explained.
Cassidy traveled to the UK shortly after Payne's death to join his family and friends and attended his funeral with the surviving members of One Direction at St. Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
