Cassidy flew back to the United Kingdom the day after Payne died after plunging to his death from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October, per Daily Mail.

Following the tragedy, Cassidy traveled to Britain to attend an emotional funeral service on November 20 at the 12th Century St Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, with Payne's family and close friends.

Since then, Cassidy has been living alone in the contemporary apartment complex where two-bedroom apartments can fetch up to £2 million ($2.54 million).

The south-east London development, which is near the banks of the River Thames, features a gym, saunas, and an infinity pool as part of its own health and fitness club.

Following Payne's death, Cassidy shared on social media how they had sat down to plan their future together, with the 1D singer expressing his hopes in a heartfelt handwritten note that they would get married in the upcoming months and be "together forever".
