One Direction bandmates 'feel closer' following Liam Payne's death
According to a source, the One Direction former bandmates- Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson - are making a conscious effort to rebuild their friendship after years of sporadic communication.
They are mourning Payne’s loss and leaning on each other for support.
The bandmates came together at Payne’s private funeral in Amersham, England, last month. It was the first time they had reunited since Malik left One Direction in 2015.

The insider explained that the somber occasion has led them to focus on rebuilding their relationships.
“They’re all still mourning but are checking in on each other and feel closer than they have in years. It brought them back together,” the source added.
