Investigation pending in Liam Payne's death

Liam Payne's fans have expressed frustration  at the documentary's timing as the probe into his death is still going on, as reported by The Mirror.

They also expressed their objection to eyewitnesses and defendants’ interviews in the nine episode documentary.

Payne was reportedly found dead on December 16 in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires after he fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel.

Netizens say documentary makes them ‘sick’

Now, people have called out TMZ as one critic tweeted, “TMZ shared photos of Liam minutes after his death, gave a platform to two defendants in the trial, and has access to hotel surveillance videos from the investigation. How much corruption is at play, and who’s funding it? #JusticeForLiam.”

“How can a TV show air their own so-called investigation while the authorities are still investigating,” another said.

A third one shared, “What absolutely makes me sick is all of these platforms making money and fake stories off our Angel. Putting things out before the actual truth is even out. Just sick. #JusticeForLiam #JusticeForLiamPayne 🪽💜🪽.”

One posted, “The investigation re. the defendants is still going on, court cases haven’t even started yet. We don’t know more than what prosecution brought out and so all else they will come up with will be pure speculation. Hence I would never watch this and I find it very disrespectful@TMZ.”

Another wrote, “TMZ just needs to shut up and wait for the case to be investigated first...! 😡 Who gave them the authority to go and put out fake narratives about the kindest soul on earth, Liam! I hope Liam's dad is making a note of it all and sues everyone involved in defaming our angel❤️.”

“There’s no way that they’re making a documentary while the case is still open, and they have the audacity to interview the person who is responsible for all of this, who will be charged for this. TMZ you won’t protect him because no one believes your lies anymore. #JusticeForLiam,” a tweet read.

One noted, “Who is to blame? TMZ! By paying "3 sources" who are being investigated to spread lies, by posting pics of his body on the internet, and for airing this trash two months to the day of his passing. TMZ is garbage.  #JusticeForLiamPayne #LiamsLaw.”

Bret Watson says ‘time stopped’ when Liam Payne fell from the third floor balcony

This comes as one eyewitness named Bret Watson, who was present during Liam Payne’s death, spoke to TMZ about the moment.

He said, “I was meeting our wedding planner. We had gone up to the room and happened to be looking out of the window of our hotel. We saw Liam fall.”

“We immediately rushed out on the balcony to see what it was and when we looked down we could see it was Liam lying on the ground. I don’t have a medical background but from what I saw it looked like he passed away on impact,” the hotel guest revealed.

Watson added, “Time stopped or slowed down immediately. Seeing anyone just fall like that is heartbreaking but being able to see it happen and hear the impact on the ground which was more haunting than seeing him fall.”
