Lip reader decodes the first words of Blue Origin crew on touching down Earth after 11-minute flight

VAN HORN, TEXAS: After weeks of building the excitement, Blue Origin has successfully concluded its all-women Flight NS-31 on April 14 when the star-studded crew touched down safely.
A lip reader is now revealing the six women passengers’ first words after landing back on earth. Speaking to Life & Style, lip reader Nicola Hicking revealed the crew’s various preoccupations upon landing back on Earth included asking about “babies” to uttering phrases of appreciation.
The flight was undertaken by Blue Origin and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez, singer Katy Perry, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, CBS News veteran Gayle King, and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn.

Speaking to the outlet, Hicking shared that Sanchez, 55, looked emotional when she was greeted by her partner. Meeting him, the former journalist asked, “Where are my babies?” as Bezos was seen giving her some directions. He seemingly told her, “You need to go over there.”
Perry, 40, on the other hand, was spotted kissing a daisy, a nod to her four-year-old daughter, whom she shares with Orlando Bloom. As she bent down to kiss the ground, the ‘Roar’ singer seemingly said, “That was incredible.”
Hicking further shared what she believed was spoken by Bowe, saying that following the overwhelming experience, she exclaimed, “Oh yes!”
Amanda Nguyen, meanwhile, was equally exuberant in expressing her happiness, as she appeared to be saying, “Hoorah.”

As reported by the outlet, the crew took off from the launch site in Van Horn, Texas, at 9.30 am ET on Monday, April 14. After traveling to the Karman line, the spot located 62 miles above the Earth's surface separating the atmosphere and space, the crew landed back roughly 11 minutes after the launch.
As the ‘Dark Horse’ singer previously promised that she would be singing a song for the crew once they were up in the air, she fulfilled her promise and belted out a soulful rendition of Louis Armstrong’s ‘What a Wonderful World’.
Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, and Gayle King reflected on their space trip
Upon returning, the women reflected on their experience as they opened up about what they felt during the journey.
Speaking to NBC News, Perry said, "I feel super connected to love," adding that the experience felt second only to becoming a mother.
She further reflected on the reason why she brought a daisy with her to the space, saying, “Daisies are common flowers, but they grow through any condition. They are resilient. They are powerful. They are strong."
King, on the other hand, gushed about the flight, "I can't even believe what I saw," before adding, "I'm so proud of me right now," per USA Today.
She admitted that the opportunity was "such a reminder of how we have to do better, be better," before highlighting the "sisterhood" of the crew.
"I don't think you can describe it … it was quiet but also really alive," said Sanchez about her experience of looking down to Earth from space, before quipping, "I had to come back, I mean we're getting married," referring to her upcoming nuptials.
"That would be a bummer,” concluded Sanchez, who is reportedly set to tie the knot with Bezos in Italy later this year.
