WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene has suggested that her push to eliminate the H-1B visa program may have prompted President Donald Trump to abruptly withdraw his endorsement of her.

The rift between the two Republicans widened after Greene introduced a bill targeting the program, just hours before Trump issued a statement announcing he was cutting ties with her.

Greene on Saturday, November 15, reposted her X post from Friday about introducing a bill to end the mass replacement of American workers by aggressively phasing out the H1B program with a caption, “Maybe it was my bill to get rid of the H1B visas”, suggesting that it was this remark of hers that prompted Trump to withdraw support for her.

Trump, on Friday, November 14, announced he is withdrawing his endorsement and support of Representative Greene, marking a significant escalation following weeks of criticism directed at fellow GOP members and the president himself by House Republicans.

On Friday, Greene took to X, announcing, “I am introducing a bill to END the mass replacement of American workers by aggressively phasing out the H1B program.

"Big Tech, AI giants, hospitals, and industries across the board have abused the H-1B system to cut out our own people.

"Americans are the most talented people in the world, and I have full faith in the American people. I serve Americans only, and I will ALWAYS put Americans first.

"My bill ELIMINATES the corrupt H-1B program and puts AMERICANS FIRST again in tech, healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, and every industry that keeps this country running!!

If we want the next generation to have the American Dream, we must stop replacing them and start investing in them."

Trump withdraws support for MTG

On the same day, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to declare his decision, stating that despite his "Record Achievements" for the country, "all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!"

In a long and fiery post, Trump detailed the reasons for the withdrawal, stating, "I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of 'Congresswoman' Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia."

Emphasizing his own accomplishments before criticizing her behavior, he wrote, “Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone."

He continued, "Ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!)."

He further added, “INVESTED in the USA, and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”
