Trump ends support for Marjorie Taylor Greene: 'Can’t take a ranting lunatic’s call every day'
WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump, late on Friday, November 14, announced he is withdrawing his endorsement and support of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga), marking a significant escalation following weeks of criticism directed at fellow GOP members and the president himself by House Republicans.
Trump used his social media platform to declare his decision, stating that despite his "Record Achievements" for the country, "all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!"

Trump’s shares withdrawal of support on ‘Truth Social’
In a long and fiery post on Truth Social, Trump detailed the reasons for the withdrawal, stating, "I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of 'Congresswoman' Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia."
He emphasized his own accomplishments before criticizing her behavior: “Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!)."
He further added, “INVESTED in the USA, and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”
Marjorie Taylor Greene's low poll numbers sparked president's decision
Trump attributed the fallout to a poll he sent her, stating, “It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!).”
Trump added, “She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 US Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.”
Trump says he would support a challenger if right person runs
Trump’s withdrawal extended to promising support for a primary opponent against Greene, writing: “I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”
Trump: Marjorie Taylor Greene—something happened to her over the last period of a month or two where she changed I think politically. I think that her constituents aren't going to be happy. Meanwhile, Trump’s social media post came after he told reporters while traveling to his Mar-a-Lago resort that he was open to endorsing someone in the primary bid against Greene.
This is what he said: “I stay home 98% of the time, the last thing I want to do is travel 22 hours in an airplane as nice as this plane is. So you know, Marjorie Taylor Greene is not anyway. I mean she has a very different way of thinking than I have.”
He added, “Something happened to her over the last period of a month or two where she changed I think politically. I think that her constituents aren't going to be happy. Already I have people calling me. They want to challenge her to a race in her district in Georgia and you know that's too bad she's lost a wonderful conservative reputation but what she says don't fall off his knees but if I didn't go and see his way might be in a war right now with China."
