Matt Damon's comment on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindling their romance in 2021 revealed
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matt Damon was reportedly very happy for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez when they reunited years after their breakup.
The ‘Gone Girl’ star and the singer were set to marry in the early 2000s, but they split just a few days before their wedding.
Almost two decades later, the two reunited in 2021 and tied the knot a year later.
In 2021, Damon, who is friends with Affleck, told Extra, “I’m just so happy for him. He’s the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them.”

The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker and Ben Affleck were married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in July 2022. They also held a second ceremony at Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia, in August of that year.
However, their second chance at love also could not last, as on August 22, 2024, Lopez filed for divorce from the filmmaker.
Following their separation, Damon like a true friend immediately came into action as he reportedly took out Affleck for dinner on August 25.
The actors and Damon's wife Luciana were seen at the Los Angeles restaurant Toscana, as reported by The Independent.
The trio appeared to be in a good mood as the 'Deep Water' star rocked a white T-shirt, a beige button-up, jeans, and a pair of Nikes.
Damon, on the other hand, donned a black polo shirt and dark denim and his wife paired a black crop top with matching pants.

Meanwhile, a tipster told People last week, “The truth is there was a great deal of love but also unfortunately what became clear were Ben's erratic mood swings that he couldn't hide from the press, as much as he tried to.”
They continued, “You could see the erratic behavior and giant mood swings,” explaining how Affleck would shift from “being incredibly happy and warm — the best light that emanated from him” to displaying “the deepest, darkest behavior.”
“I think he was signaling a message to the press. But yet participating,” the source stated.

The insider also mentioned that the soon-to-be-divorced couple “were trying to work through it, but when the mood swings and the big highs and lows created a pervasive toxicity, no one can help you — you have to help yourself.”
“But I would not be so bold to say there isn't love — of course there is,” the source asserted. “The world was rooting for them, but who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people,” they added.
This came after Lopez cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. She filed the legal papers without the assistance of any legal expert and declined to request spousal support.

Meanwhile, another report suggests that Robert F Kennedy Jr’s daughter, Kick Kennedy, has become involved in the Lopez-Affleck divorce drama.
It has been reported that ‘The Accountant’ star and Kick Kennedy share a romantic relationship and may have to reveal “salacious and embarrassing details of their relationship” during the divorce process.
Lawyer Andrew Zashin reportedly said, “We do not know what happened behind closed doors, but if JLo is the aggrieved party there could be a war. She has been married several times already and she truly may have thought this was the real deal.”
“She took the name Affleck. Ben is out and about with another woman - already. JLo might be furious for good reason. In her mind, and perhaps to those who love her, and her fans, this might seem humiliating,” he explained.
Zashin added, “Salacious and embarrassing details of their relationship and their personal lives might be revealed to the media. I have enormous experience with matters like this case.
