Megan Fox's new house brought her 'closer' to ex-husband Brian Austin Green amid MGK split, claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megan Fox's new house has reportedly brought her 'closer' to her ex-husband Brian Austin Green amid her split from Machine Gun Kelly.
The house, which according to sources was bought by Fox "on her own," is to prioritize co-parenting of their children as she was planning to move in without Kelly.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly 'never fully lived together'
According to the US Weekly, a source claimed, “Megan and MGK never fully lived together throughout the duration of their relationship."
The insider also added that Fox, who is pregnant with Kelly's child, is "closer to her ex Brian Austin Green."
The 38-year-old 'Transformers' actress's new house is reportedly valued at $80 million in a popular celebrity neighborhood in Los Angeles.
The location was chosen to make co-parenting their three sons — Noah, 11, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, seven — "easier."
The source added that Fox, who had been renting for the past year while searching for the perfect home, “wanted a new chapter” and purchased the house “on her own.” Prior to this, she was living in a Malibu rental.
The source claimed that “[Fox and Kelly's] split had nothing to do with her purchasing a new house,” adding, “Megan has always liked her own space.”
Fox and Green, who were married from 2010 to 2021, share a strong co-parenting relationship. According to People, a source said Fox is “in a good place” with Green and his fiancee, Sharna Burgess.
“Megan feels fortunate that her boys are loved and always taken care of. She’s been so happy about being pregnant,” the source added.

Page Six reported that Fox decided to split after discovering “text messages involving other women” on Kelly’s phone.
A source explained that trust issues were a recurring problem for Fox. She always had "trust issues" with the ‘Rap Devil’ singer because of "past behaviors,” the insider shared.
Despite wanting to rebuild trust and being excited about growing their family, the relationship ultimately did not work out.
The insider added, “Megan is a strong, independent woman and doesn’t need a man in her life.”
