Meghan Markle plots fresh revenge on royals with 'tell-all book' to recoup Prince Harry’s $2M court loss

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The rift between Meghan Markle and the royal family has reportedly widened following Prince Harry's court case defeat over his security in the UK.
Markle believes the royal family played a role in the unfavorable outcome, which has left Harry facing a $2 million bill. She is reportedly planning "revenge" despite concerns about permanently severing connections with the royal family.
Meghan Markle upset as court defeat leaves Prince Harry with $2 million legal bill
The couple, along with their children Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3, will not have taxpayer-funded armed police protection when visiting the UK, which reportedly leaves them feeling more isolated than ever.

Markle is blaming the royals for "essentially turning her and the prince into paupers."
"Meghan didn’t want Harry to pursue an appeal because if he lost, he would be required to cover legal costs for both sides," a source told Radar Online.
"But there was no talking him out of it. He was determined to make a point and he truly believed the court would side with him," the insider added.
Prince Harry assumed court battle with royals for security would be 'fair'
The sources told the outlet that the lost court battle was "infuriating" to Prince Harry.
According to insiders, Harry assumed the court case would result in a "fair" and "balanced decision."

"But now it appears it was biased and a waste of time and money," said the source.
"This $2 million bill puts a huge amount of pressure on Markle as well as Prince Harry to make up for the revenue loss," the insider said.
"They already run a tight ship financially and don't have a spare couple of million just sitting in the bank. It must be taken from investments, which will now cost them additional fees," the insider continued.

Meghan Markle eyes bombshell memoir with no choice left amid soaring legal costs
With legal costs mounting amid the financial woes, Meghan Markle is reportedly left with no choice but to risk everything and come out with a tell-all book.
An insider said, "It's something that’s been dangled in front of her since they settled in California."
Notably, Harry discussed his memoir 'Spare', which he wrote in 2023, detailing the events surrounding the exit, during the BBC interview.
"Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing the book, for lots of things," Harry said.
Meanwhile, the source added about Markle's thoughts, saying, "She kept putting it off, but now she may have no choice."
"Someone's got to pay the hefty legal bill plus all their other costs – the mortgage, living expenses and their security team in Montecito."
"It’s easy to imagine that putting out her own story, in exchange for a huge paycheck, is starting to look more tempting," the source said.
"For Meghan, there's no reason to hold back now that things have become so toxic with the royals, but Harry must realize she is building a wall between him and his family that he will never be able to scale," the insider warned.
