LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle has once again failed to warm into the hearts of her viewers when one of her recent cooking videos garnered attention for all the wrong reasons.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex recently posted an aesthetic video of her preparing a dessert called "Chantilly Lili" with her mother Doria Ragland. However, instead of the dish— named after her and Prince Harry’s daughter Princess Lilibet—becoming the talk of the town, Meghan’s bizarre table manners drew attention.

After Meghan Markle posted a video of herself trying the dessert, several eagle-eyed viewers noticed that she has a habit of sticking out her tongue while grabbing a bite, OK! Magazine reported. Without wasting a moment, the social media users mercilessly trolled her habit by calling it “gross.”

Sharing the video on Instagram earlier in the week, Markle wrote, "Whipped up a special dessert with @nytcooking as we celebrate the launch of @aseverofficial today! Goodness is moments away ⏰In the meantime, enjoy the recipe for our ‘Chantilly Lili’ — a delicious dessert named after our darling daughter. So so so good 🍨 As special and sweet as she is.”

In the video, her mother could be seen taking a bite of the dessert as Meghan stood in anticipation of her reaction. Then, the former actress herself took a bite of the confection, during which several fans noticed her apparently sticking out her tongue.

She shared another video, where she explained that she has taken a fresh twist to one of her grandmother’s recipes.

“I did a spin on my grandma’s banana pudding recipe, making homemade vanilla pudding, layering in fresh chantilly cream (doesn’t the word ‘chantilly’ make you think of that old Big Bopper song?!), with strawberries soaked in fresh lemon juice and a touch of sugar. Of course, slices of banana and vanilla wafers layer in for this sweet treat we named after Lili," she wrote in the caption.

This comes after the former ‘Suits’ actress took to her Instagram to share that the products of As Ever have swiftly flown off the shelves, marking her brand’s milestone success.

"Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough…for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. It’s just the start @aseverofficial 🎉 Here we go!" Markle wrote on Instagram.

Meghan Markle slammed as Internet calls her eating manners 'gross'

Several people on social media were grossed out by the way Meghan Markle ate the dessert in the video and took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock her for apparently sticking out her tongue while tasting what she had made.

One of the social media users wrote on X, "Bro. What in the…who EATS LIKE THIS???? Sticks their tongue all the way out when shoveling food in? Every time I think she cannot possibly get any more bizarre, here we are."

Someone else chimed in, "Watching video clip twice, M*ghan's way of eating is - ! She'd never be welcome at my table, make me feel sick watching person stick out tongue open mouth wide to eat anything. Not watching any of M*ghan's videos, her hair in food, eating like - ! Gross."

"Who hangs their tongue out of their mouth to take a bite?! What?! Vile grifter. 🤢," one displeased person wrote.

"Ugh. I wouldn’t be able to eat around her. The food that she would have to be showing every time she stuck her tongue out 🤢. And this after her chewing with her mouth open in the video “with” Gwyneth," another said while referencing Markle's recent video with Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Another netizen referenced the same video, asking, "Didn't she do the same while eating pie with Gwynneth Paltrow recently? 🤢"

"Certainly does not have the manners of a royal," one individual pointed out.

Another added, "🤢 And it’s especially weird considering she is actually doing it *for the cameras*."

"Eeewww. Who sticks their tongue out to take a bite?" asked someone else.

"Reminds me of how a baby eats. Of course if she woud take smaller bites she woudnt have to stick her tongue out to make room for the food," noted one X user, before asking, "Can you imagine how this was at state dinners when she was a working royal?"

"This is the strangest thing I have ever seen as far as EATING. ICK," added another.

One social media user commented, "She sticks out her tongue in EVERY single video of her eating."

"That doesn’t even feel comfortable to try and do. 🤢," another remarked.
