Meghan Markle and Prince Harry take Archie and Lilibet to Disneyland for magical birthday getaway
On Friday, June 6, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a cheerful montage of their private family adventure, captioned, “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!”
The video, set to Peggy Lee’s classic tune “It’s a Good Day,” offered a rare and heartwarming glimpse into life with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Lilibet, who turned four just two days ago.

Lilibet, dressed in a bright summery outfit and sparkling blue cap, was seen leading her mom through the park’s bustling pathways before meeting a Disney princess in a sweet exchange.

Prince Harry trailed behind them with a grin, later joining the whole family aboard Disneyland’s new log flume ride, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, where Meghan flashed a wide smile, donning classic Minnie Mouse ears.

One of the highlights was Lilibet’s birthday cake, a whimsical Little Mermaid design featuring Ariel and Sebastian. Meghan shared a few playful snaps of classic theme park snacks, including corn dogs and pickle slices, while maintaining the children’s privacy by placing hearts over their faces in all images.
The duchess has long been protective of her children’s public exposure, highlighting in previous interviews that their well-being and safety online remain a top priority. “They’re amazing, but all you want to do as parents is protect them,” she said during a 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview in 2024.
The post came amid social media backlash after Meghan shared a throwback video of herself and her husband twerking in the delivery room just before their baby girl was born in 2021.

Internet slams Meghan Markle as she shares family photos from Disneyland outing
Meghan Markle’s latest attempt to share a slice of her family life backfired online, as critics took to social media online to share their harsh takes after she posted photos from a Disneyland trip with Prince Harry and their children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.

Instead of sparking warmth, many accused the Duchess of Sussex of being disingenuous and attention-hungry.
One scoffed, “Oh please. I get so sick of seeing this family from the back. Why bother. Both parents are a mess. They wanted to live a quiet life in America. Why don’t they just do it !!!????”
Another wrote, “I’m sick of seeing them period.”
Others saw through what they called a calculated move, with one writing, “When you are becoming increasingly despised, you hire image consultants that clearly advised them to start sharing more personal details to seem 'just like us.'”
The backlash grew sharper, as a person expressed, “Meghan just wants attention. She does not care how low she reaches as long as it grabs attention. No family should have the misfortune of having such a daughter-in-law.”
“It seems she's on yet another PR campaign. Really odd for someone that doesn’t want media attention. Lol,” one commented.
And one user sarcastically asked, “Does she travel with a photographer? The attention-seeking is outrageous.”
