Meghan Markle urges husband Prince Harry to lose weight as she 'has image to uphold', reveals source

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle is reportedly urging Prince Harry to adopt a healthier lifestyle as his recent appearance has sparked talk about his weight gain.
Sources claim she is concerned that how he looks might affect their shared image.
The former actress, known for maintaining her figure, is said to be working hard on her fitness while trying to steer Harry back on track with his diet and exercise.

Prince Harry’s look leaving a London courtroom on April 8 triggered talk of his "bloated" face, according to an insider.

"It’s probably a combination of too much alcohol and salt, and not enough exercise and sweating it out in the sauna," an insider told Radar Online.
"Harry's never been much of a muscle man, but he was getting into yoga with Meghan," the insider further mentioned.

The source added, "Somewhere along the line he's slacked off, and now his face is bloated and he's got a bit of a paunch."
Whereas, according to the insider, the 'Suits' actress is in peak form and sticks to a disciplined routine, which includes daily exercise.
"She eats very healthy, has a trainer and goes to the gym five days a week," said the source.
Besides hitting the gym, Markle moves around for physical activity, which includes "hiking with the kids" almost every day.

"She's dedicated to looking her best. She sees it as part of her job," the insider added.

Worried Meghan Markle is pushing Prince Harry to cut back on unhealthy snacks and commit to a fitness plan. "Harry jokes that he just loves her cooking, but she says they have an image to uphold," said the insider.
They added, "Word is she wants him back with the trainer, and eating fewer chips and more celery sticks."

Besides being concerned about the image, Markle also warned Prince Harry about the health risks of weight gain from junk food.
"It's also a matter of health. The junk food Harry likes is terrible for him, and no doubt she worries about what it will do to him long-term," the insiders noted.
"She sees him as a reflection of herself and wants him to look his best," revealed the source, per Radar Online.
