Meghan Markle wore 5-inch stilettos while pregnant, recalls telling Prince Harry 'don't let me fall'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle recently opened up about her days as a senior royal while pregnant with her son Prince Archie.
On the last episode of her podcast, 'Confessions of a Female Founder', she revisited those moments while chatting with Spanx founder Sara Blakely.
Meghan Markle reveals she wore five-inch stilettos while pregnant with Prince Archie
In the episode, Markle reflected on her time juggling royal duties and pregnancy, revealing how high heels were a constant part of her wardrobe during official engagements.
“A friend just said to me the other day, they were like, ‘I just saw this picture I’d forgotten about when you were so pregnant with Archie,’” Markle said during the podcast.
Her friend even expressed surprise after seeing a photo of her during that time.
“‘You have the most enormous bump and your tiny little ankles are bracing themselves in these high heels,’” her friend said as per Markle.
The duchess — who also shares a daughter, Princess Lilibet, with Prince Harry — recalled, “I always wear my five-inch, pointy-toed stilettos.”
Despite revealing gaining 65 lbs during both pregnancies, Markle shared how she continued her royal commitments with grace.
“All my weight was in the front. So you’re just going, how on Earth am I not just tipping, you know, face planting? I was clinging very closely to my husband, like, ‘Please don’t let me fall,’” the Duchess said as HarpersBazaar reported.

While pregnant with Archie in 2019, Meghan Markle continued to attend royal engagements in stylish outfits and heels.
However, during her pregnancy with Lilibet in 2021, Markle kept her pregnancy private.
Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties and moved to California in January 2020.
Tuesday’s finale episode of her podcast marked the end of its first season, which premiered on April 8 following a March announcement.

Meghan Markle says motherhood didn't pan out the 'way she envisioned it'
On the May 20 episode of her podcast, Markle reflected on her expectations for motherhood before her children were born.
“I will say, for myself, especially when they are baby babies and before I was a mom, I’ve always wanted to be a mom,” she said.
“I was like, ‘Oh gosh I’m going to give a speech with a baby on my hip.’ I had a whole vision.”
However, things didn’t unfold as she had imagined. “Granted, I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies,” she revealed.
“But it was not the way I envisioned it," she added as per MEAWW.
