Megyn Kelly slams Lauren Sanchez over her outfit at Trump's inauguration: 'She has no class'

WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly called out Lauren Sanchez for her choice of outfit at the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump on Monday, January 20, as per the Dail Mail.

Sanchez, 55, accompanied her fiance, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, 61, inside the Capitol Rotunda where Trump was sworn in as the 47th president.

For the occasion, the journalist wore an ivory Alexander McQueen pantsuit with a lace corset peeking out of its blazer, which has brought her quite a bit of backlash. Sanchez paired the outfit with a brushed wool and mohair coat from Schiaparelli.

She wore the same suit during her conversation with Forbes executive vice president Moira Forbes at the Forbes Power Women's Summit in September 2024.

Megyn Kelly asks Lauren Sanchez to have some respect for the setting over inauguration outfit choice

Former Fox News host-turned-podcaster Megyn Kelly went on a rant against Lauren Sanchez on her Instagram.

In a clip shared on Tuesday, Kelly said, "This is not my first time saying she dresses like a h**ker, because she does."

Throwing shade at Bezos and Sanchez for having done "a lot" to change their appearance over the years, Kelly stated, "That's fine if that's your choice. But have some dignity and some respect for your setting in your circumstances."

"No one should be talking about your t**s. Sorry. They should be talking about the inauguration," the political commentator fumed. 

On the day of the inauguration, Kelly retweeted a photo of Sanchez and Bezos from the ceremony, writing, "She has no class. No dignity. No respect."

Netizens reacting to Megyn Kelly's scathing attacks at Lauren Sanchez on both Instagram and X sided with the podcaster in calling the latter's outfit inappropriate for the occasion. 

"The old saying 'money can’t buy class' is sooooo true," wrote a person on Instagram. "Has anyone taught her what appropriate dress attire is?" asked another.

"Totally agree! Not the time and place for that outfit," a person wrote. 

On X, an individual said, "Jeff Bezos looks like he's so fed up with her attention-seeking behavior, LMAO," with another adding, "An inappropriate outfit for the occasion."

One more expressed, "Near all that power, yet,.. still insecure. The attention she seeks so desperately will never fulfill the void that exists. It’s not high school anymore sweetheart. Cover up & show some respect & self respect."
