The 68-year-old actor had a laid-back look while his friend Vaughn was dressed sharply in a dark suit. Vaughn's Apple TV+ series 'Bad Monkey' will debut this week.

He wore a white collared shirt with long ombre blue shorts and black lace-up sneakers for comfort. Throughout most of the event, Gibson shielded his face with black mirrored sunglasses, making him hard to recognize.

Vince Vaughn, the 54-year-old honoree who will be seen in the Apple TV+ series 'Bad Monkey', was dressed in a dark suit and white shirt. He posed with his wife Kyla and their two children for photos. 

At the ceremony, Gibson posed with Vaughn by his new Walk of Fame star and even took a selfie, revealing his brown cell phone case with a glimpse of his driver's license and Visa card.

The spotlight was firmly on Vaughn as he prepares for the premiere of 'Bad Monkey', which kicks off on Wednesday. The series, created by Bill Lawrence—known for 'Scrubs', 'Cougar Town', 'Ted Lasso', and 'Shrinking'—features Vaughn as a former detective turned restaurant inspector in the Florida Keys who gets caught up in an unusual case.

Gibson and Vaughn previously worked together in the 2018 thriller 'Dragged Across Concrete'.

Gibson, born Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson in New York and raised in Australia from the age of 12, is renowned for his action hero roles, particularly as Max Rockatansky in the 'Mad Max' series and as Martin Riggs in the 'Lethal Weapon' films. His acclaimed work includes the 1995 epic 'Braveheart' and the 2004 film 'The Passion of the Christ'.

Vaughn, who married Kyla Weber in 2010, was joined by their two children, Locklyn, 13, and Vernon, 11, as per DailyMail.The family is rarely seen in public, adding a special touch to their appearance at the event. Vaughn may also be returning to a sequel of one of his earlier hits in the near future.
