LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Donald Trump's presidential inauguration, Melania Trump has made a powerful return to the spotlight, with viral videos showing her offering comfort to victims of the devastating LA wildfires.

This heartwarming moment comes as Melania Trump joined her husband, President Donald Trump, on a visit to California to survey the widespread destruction caused by the wildfires. 

The footage, which has captivated millions of viewers, captures her compassion as she consoles those affected by the Palisades fires—many of whom she speaks to in her native Slovenian. Known for her impressive multilingual abilities, Melania speaks six languages, including Italian, French, German, English, Serbian, and Slovenian, making her connection with the victims even more heartfelt.



 

Melania Trump’s video comforting victims devastated by LA fire goes viral

In a heartfelt 30-second video shared by an X user, First Lady Melania Trump is seen speaking Slovenian to a woman who has been impacted by the Palisades fires. 

The user also provided a translation of the conversation, which began when the woman introduced herself in Serbian, mentioning she had lived in California since childhood. Melania inquired about her family, and the woman, mixing Serbian and Slovenian, shared that she has two sons.

As the visit unfolded, Melania’s comforting words came while President Trump was also interacting with victims during his walk through the area. In the viral videos, Trump is seen clashing with local officials over delays in rebuilding efforts caused by regulations.

According to the Irish Star, President Trump, the First Lady, and Governor Gavin Newsom toured the fire-ravaged Pacific Palisades, meeting with firefighters and locals amid the destruction. 



 

Following the visit, Trump's tone shifted as he sat down for a roundtable with residents and officials. "We have to work together to get this really worked out. I don’t think you can realize how devastating it is until you see it. It’s incredible. It’s really an incineration." 

Addressing the group of officials, he added, "I’m going to give you everything you want. I’m going to give you more than any president would have ever given you."
