Michael Moore points out Kamala Harris' major strategic flaw which may cost her presidential election
WASHINGTON, DC: Michael Moore has warned Kamala Harris that a change in strategy could cost her in the presidential race.
In his latest substack, the film director opined that “If Harris is advised by her wealthy donors to shun the left and drop her more progressive positions in favor of a ‘move to the center,’” then it could “reduce or depress the vote.”
Michael Moore says Democrats must defeat Donald Trump with a 'landslide' victory
A longtime Donald Trump critic, Michael Moore added, “Right now, if you know how to really read the polls, or if you have access to the various private and internal polling being conducted by and shared only amongst the elites, Wall Street, and Members of Congress, then you already know that this election was over weeks ago.”
Moore further warned, “It is never wise to do a victory dance on the two-yard line when Trump is your opponent,” per The Daily Beast.
The filmmaker expressed his wish for the Democrats to win big. “An aggregate of top polls as of today shows that Harris will defeat Trump in the Electoral College count by 270 to 268, but I think we need more. We need to ensure that Trump loses in a landslide,” Moore penned.
Internet disagrees with Michael Moore's take on Kamal Harris' strategy
Netizens didn't buy into Michael Moore's opinion that Kamala Harris' new strategy could hurt her campaign. Instead, some users hit back at the film director's point of view on warning Democrats ahead of the November elections.
One person shared on X (formerly Twitter), "Michael Moore comes out every 4 yrs and says stuff."
"I love Moore, but he’s wrong here. And he’s been wrong about a lot…" another user felt.
Someone else expressed, "Moderates are going to beat the radicals on both sides. Harris’ team is making a smart move!"
"It doesnt work either. The more rightwing voters you may get costs you current support," another reflected.
"Michael Moore is exceptionally talented at being annoying to everyone," one trolled the film director.
A user expressed, "Catering to a radical 'base' on either side is a big mistake. That's how the Republicans became the Republicants. 'base' is not the 'majority'."
"Progressives will move the goal post again, and again and again. First they said: "She better pick Tim Walz" she did and now it's "Cut off all aide to Israel." You cannot win with them," read another tweet.
