LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Isabella Strahan, daughter of TV personality Michael Strahan, is marking a significant milestone in her health journey by celebrating the completion of an eight-month chemotherapy treatment.

This achievement follows her ongoing battle with a brain tumor, during which she has bravely undergone chemotherapy. The 19-year-old student and model has been sharing her journey through a YouTube series, where she recently opened up about the difficulties and side effects of her treatment.

Isabella Strahan says she 'officially finished chemo'

Isabella shared the latest episode of her YouTube series on June 14, chronicling her health journey since undergoing emergency surgery in October 2023 to remove a large medulloblastoma, a type of malignant tumor, from her cerebellum. The vlog was filmed at Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina.

It captured Isabella during her fourth and final round of chemotherapy. Reflecting on her experience, she described this round of treatment as surprisingly manageable, expressing joy for the confetti parade and the tradition of ringing the hospital bell upon completion.

She said, flashing a thumbs-up and smiling, "I officially finished my chemo! Yay! This was a long journey, but I made it. Now I have to recover and get back to my usual state, which is gonna take a long time but done with treatments."

Before heading to ring the hospital bell, she remarked, "My confetti parade was really fun and I love all my nurses. It is a great day." As she rang the bell with a wide grin, she recited, "Ring the bell three times well. It’s a toll to clearly say my treatment’s done, this course is run and I’m on my way."

Her loved ones also surprised her with a 'Hooray for Isabella' poster and Wonder Woman balloons, alongside unicorn dolls. After leaving the hospital, Isabella and her family celebrated with a meal at Waffle House, one of her favorite restaurants.
