LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miley Cyrus has subtly expressed her support for her mother, Tish Cyrus, following the release of shocking audio and text messages in which her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, insulted Tish.
The Grammy-winning artist, 31, posted behind-the-scenes photos from a Gucci photo shoot on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, including two pictures of her sweetly embracing mother, Tish, 57.

Just hours earlier, Billy Ray admitted to making shocking comments about Tish, Miley, and his estranged wife Firerose.
While the intention behind the slideshow is not explicitly clear, it aligns with the known estrangement between Miley and her father.
At the Grammys in February, Miley notably omitted Billy Ray, 62, from her acceptance speech for Record of the Year, choosing to thank her mom, sister, “love,” and stylists instead.
She added, “I don’t think I forgot anyone—but I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!” subtly hinting at their strained relationship.
In a recent interview on David Letterman’s 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,' Miley spoke candidly about her relationship with her father, saying she “inherited the narcissism” from him and calling Tish her “hero.”
The estrangement was likely exacerbated by recent text messages obtained by Page Six, in which Billy Ray called Tish a “liar,” “whore,” and “cheat.”
He proceeded to call her a “complete skank,” “scum of the earth,” and a “fraud,” making derogatory comparisons and exposing personal details from the past.
In the leaked audio, Billy Ray slammed Tish for her past relationships before they met, adding, “Everyone knows the devil’s a skank.” The former couple, married from 1993 to 2002, share three children: Miley, Braison Cyrus, 30, and Noah Cyrus, 24.

A newly leaked audio recording reveals Billy Ray Cyrus verbally attacking his estranged wife, Firerose, calling her "an idiot" and a "dumba*s" during a heated argument.
In the recording, Billy Ray Cyrus berates Firerose for causing him to be late to an event, repeatedly insulting her intelligence and accusing her of not listening to him.
He also harshly references her health issues, including her BRCA1 gene mutation and upcoming double mastectomy surgery. Despite Firerose's attempts to calm him, Billy Ray continues to lash out, blaming her for the argument.
Sources close to Cyrus claim the audio is heavily edited and doesn’t accurately reflect the situation. The argument reportedly arose from an invitation for Cyrus to perform with Nicki Minaj during her Tennessee tour stop.
