Millie Bobby Brown opens up about starting 'big family' with husband Jake Bongiovi: 'It's so important'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her desire to start a family with her husband, Jake Bongiovi.
The couple, who married in May 2024, have already discussed their future and share a vision of having a large family.

During a recent appearance on the 'SmartLess' podcast, Millie Bobby Brown shared that becoming a mother has always been a priority for her.

The 'Stranger Things' actress acknowledged that while she is young, she is eager to embrace motherhood.
"My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake," Brown said.
"Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life," she continued, as per Daily Mail.

"And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me personally," she added.

Millie Bobby Brown revealed that Jake Bongiovi had a strong stance on their family planning timeline.
"It's a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing," she said.
She also expressed her deep desire for a big family. "And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family," she said.
"I'm one of four. He's one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting," she added.

The actress spoke about the kind of home she and Jake want to build together.
"My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, is our energy in the house is the door is always open, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable," she said.

While reflecting her relationship with Jake she also talked about shaving her head to play Eleven on 'Stranger Things,' with host Alex Cooper on 'Call Her Daddy' podcast on Tuesday, saying she plans to do so again when she has her first child.
"Maybe like right before I'm about to give birth," she said, adding "Hair is such an ordeal anyway to deal with. I'm going to nurture my child. Why deal with my hair?"
Brown and Jake, who is the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, first began dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023. The couple tied the knot in May 2024.
