LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Another breakup in Hollywood. Actress Minka Kelly and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have decided to go their separate ways, according to reports.

The couple reportedly made the decision after four years together. According to reports, a source close to the couple shared that the split “happened recently.”

As of now, neither Kelly’s representative nor Reynolds’ representative has responded to reports of the split.

Kelly, 46, and Reynolds, 39, have not made any social media updates or shared any posts about their split on their respective platforms.

The breakup also appears to have come as a surprise, especially given their recent posts together.

Back in August, the actress shared a silly Instagram video in which Reynolds appeared to be applying her skincare products. Before that, the pair had last posted about their adventures together in July.

The 'Ransom Canyon' actress even shared a few highlights from their trip to Disneyland, which was a family outing with Reynolds and his children.

“No place I’d rather be,” Kelly captioned the post at the time. She also shared an Instagram tribute for Reynolds’ birthday later that same month.

“Thank you for making ordinary days feel extraordinary, for making me laugh until I can’t breathe, and for loving so deeply and so freely. Celebrating you is one of my favorite things to do,” the actress wrote.

As for their public appearances, the couple was last seen together in May 2026, when they made their red carpet debut at the 2026 Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Gala.

Kelly had previously shared a rare glimpse into her relationship with Reynolds, revealing how the Imagine Dragons frontman supported her while she prepared for her role in 'Ransom Canyon'.

Kelly told PEOPLE that the 'Thunder' artist helped her learn how to play the piano for the show. “I’ll usually ask my partner to show me how it goes,” she said at the time. “And then he’ll show me where my hands go. Then I’ll just do it over and over again until I’ve memorized it.”

Reynolds also spoke warmly about Kelly and her relationship with his children. The 'Believer' hitmaker previously shared that his kids “love” Kelly. “We view it as kind of bonuses to the family: more people to love, more people to help,” Reynolds said of introducing Kelly into his family.

“We’ve just been really careful with that and slow with navigating how to bring Minka into that conversation.”

He added, “She’s done a really incredible job of being sensitive and careful on her end as well.” It seemed like Kelly and Reynolds had built a loving relationship and a close bond with his family before things took an unexpected turn.

Now, the couple’s social media followers will have to wait for an official announcement from Kelly or Reynolds about their reported split.
