Miranda Lambert hailed as ‘great person’ after she raises over $200K for animal victims of LA fires

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miranda Lambert has been hailed for her valiant efforts to raise money for the animals affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. 

The 41-year-old country singer’s animal organization MuttNation Foundation collaborated with rural lifestyle retailer Tractor Supply to help raise over $200K for the furry victims affected by the wildfires that have been raging since January 7, Tuesday. 

 Lambert took to her Instagram on Sunday, January 12, to thank her fans for responding to her call and making donations for the animal victims of the fire.

Miranda Lambert helps raise $200K for animals affected by Los Angeles wildfires

In the video shared, Miranda Lambert thanked the donors for contributing to the Relief for Rescues Fund, which was started on Thursday, and addressed her fans regarding the same, as reported by Daily Mail

“And starting today at Tractor Supply, at checkout you can donate either online or in person and 100% of that continues to go to relief funds,” said the ‘Wranglers’ singer to her social media fans, including the 4.9 million Instagram followers. 

The ‘Gunpowder & Lead’ crooner continued, “So from MuttNation and Tractor Supply, friends thank y'all so much for helping us out and we're going to continue to send prayers and love and light!”

Lambert co-founded her nonprofit MuttNation Foundation with her mother Bev Lambert back in 2009. 

Further in her video, the songstress further shared that the money raised would be used to benefit several animal shelters impacted by the fire, including Pasadena Humane.

Since the conflagration started, the community-supported animal resource center has taken in over 400 animals from the Eaton Fire. its wide-ranging litter also included a “five-day-old puppy found under a collapsed building".

On Friday, January 10, Pasadena Humane shared that they were only accepting monetary donations as their facility had been flooded with supplies because of the overwhelming response.

Social media users were left praising Miranda Lambert for her generous efforts to help the animals affected in the blazing inferno.
