Miranda Lambert shares video of her reacting to 'mean tweets'

On Tuesday, February 4, Miranda Lambert posted a video on Instagram in which she reacted to some of the "mean tweets" and comments she received after the announcement of her joining Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem tour.

The video was captioned, "I appreciate that y’all aren’t afraid to hold back."

In the video, Lambert read through some of the less-than-enthusiastic comments, including one that said, "Hmmm, team Miranda forever, but this comes as a shock." Another comment read, "I was the biggest Miranda fan," while another said, "This ain’t it, sis."

One particularly disappointed comment stated, "I’m so disappointed in both of you. May God forgive you both," which made Lambert laugh. She jokingly responded, "We’re really doing bad on this tour, Morgan."

Some comments also expressed surprise over Lambert, who has been a long-established headliner in her own right.

One comment read, "You are not a side dish–you are a main course," while another expressed disappointment that Lambert wouldn't be performing at the Texas shows, saying, "WTF, I don’t see Texas on here." Lambert responded with, "I know, that sucks. I’m not on the Texas shows."

She also read a comment that accused her of "clinging to something popular so you can try to stay relevant." Wrapping up the video, Lambert said, "So there we go. Thanks guys for the support. Appreciate that."

Morgan Wallen, 31, announced his highly anticipated I'm the Problem tour in January, which will feature 19 shows across various cities, as per PEOPLE.

In a statement, Wallen expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, "We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at a Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night. As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there."

According to Billboard, the I'm the Problem tour will kick off on June 20 and run through September 13. In addition to Miranda Lambert, other openers for the tour include Koe Wetzel, Corey Kent, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, and Anne Wilson.

The tour is named after Wallen's current single and his upcoming fourth studio album, following the success of his previous album 'One Thing at a Time', which spent 19 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 and earned six No 1 singles on the Country Airplay chart.

In 2024, Lambert released her album 'Postcards From Texas' in partnership with Republic Records and Big Loud. Tickets for the I'm the Problem Tour are now available on Morgan Wallen's official website.
