Morgan Wallen blasted as he 'accepts responsibility' for arrest over chair-throwing incident
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Morgan Wallen has issued a statement after his recent arrest for allegedly tossing away a chair from a rooftop bar that could have hurt two police officers.
The singer posted on X, “I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s.”

Morgan Wallen says ‘there will be no change’ in his tour
He also noted, “I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change. -MW.”
On April 7, Wallen was taken into custody and slapped with “3 cts of felony reckless endangerment and 1 ct of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief's Bar Sun night,” the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said.

Meanwhile, the ‘Last Night’ singer’s response has attracted some negative attention online for him as an X user tweeted, “You’re still racist.”
