Bob Bryar was found dead in his Tennessee home two days before Thanksgiving

Bob Bryar was found dead in his Tennessee home on Tuesday, November 26. The cause or manner of his death has not yet been made public, along with the identity of the person who found him.

According to TMZ, which first broke the news, Bryar's body was "badly decomposed" upon discovery, and Animal Control was called to take custody of his two dogs.

Bryar was last seen alive on November 4, when he posted his final tweets, in one of which he appreciated the latest addition to the legendary Linkin Park band, Emily Armstrong.

"Emily Armstrong is destroying, shredding faces and making Chester (Bennington) proud. She was the perfect choice. AND she had to deal with the initial hate. That shit is hard. Trust me. Word up," the 44-year-old wrote.

Authorities investigating Bryar's death do not suspect any foul play as all his "weapons and music equipment in the home were left untouched."

Bob Bryar's departure from My Chemical Romance

Bob Bryar, the last and longest-serving drummer of My Chemical Romance, was with the band from 2004 to 2010. He had joined the band as a replacement for Matt Pelissier following the release of their second album, 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'.

On March 3, 2010, Iero announced that the band and Bryar had decided to part ways. While details surrounding his departure were never revealed, there were rumors that it was caused by tensions among him and the rest of the members.

The statement on their official website read, "As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same."

After his stint with My Chemical Romance ended, Bryar went on to work as a real estate agent and an advocate of various dog rescues and sanctuaries. He even auctioned his drum kit used with the band to raise money for the cause.

Bryar was featured in the band's 2013 compilation album, 'Conventional Weapons'. However, he was not expected to be a part of the scheduled band tour in 2025.
