Jeremy Renner said he is double lucky to have Ava as his daughter and to miraculously recover from a near-fatal snowplow accident on New Year's Day in 2023 despite breaking 30 bones.
Renner posted a short video on Instagram with Ava's arms around him as she hugged her father while he planted a kiss on her forehead.

Jeremy Renner said Ava is his 'reason number one' to get back to life
The 'Hawkeye' star underwent a tragic accident after being run over by his 14,300-lb snowplow in Reno, Nevada, when he was helping a family member to depart from his home on January 1, 2023.
Renner, who remained in the ICU and underwent multiple surgeries, had a long road to recovery. In a touching Instagram post one year after the accident, Renner revealed that his daughter Ava was his "reason number one" who motivated him to recover.

"Reason number one for my recovery is her. I asked her to “wait for me” when I first saw her January 14 as I arrived home," Renner wrote in the post, adding, "As I got better, she got better, less afraid. There is simply no better motivator to recover than to heal your family and friends…."
"With gratitude always, thank you all for your love and support this last full year. I needed every ounce of goodwill and prayer," he added further.
