WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Nancy Mace is making headlines after a fiery video she posted to her own social media accounts showed a tense confrontation with a constituent.

The clip, which quickly gained traction online, captures Mace snapping back with an expletive—yelling "F**k you!"—after being questioned about holding a town hall meeting in her district.

The encounter, which appeared to take place inside a supermarket's makeup aisle, was shared alongside a caption in which Mace took aim at Democrats, writing, “Dems are nuts.”

Fiery exchange between Nancy Mace and constituent at supermarket

The encounter began when the man asked Mace whether she planned to hold a town hall meeting this year, as per Mediaite.

Mace replied that she hosts them annually and claimed she had already held one in 2024. “I do them every year. You want to keep going? You want to keep harassing me?” she asked.

The man clarified, “I asked if you were doing any this year. It was one simple question.”

Mace insisted, “You could have gone to a dozen town halls last year," according to the video which is just under two minutes.

When the man pressed again about future events, she responded, “I’ve already done one. I’ll do plenty more.”

The exchange quickly escalated. At one point, Mace brought up her votes in favor of same-sex marriage, saying, “And by the way, I voted for gay marriage twice.”

The man shot back, “What does that have to do with me?” to which Mace responded, “It has everything to do with you.”

As tensions flared, Mace accused the man of being “crazy,” saying, “Because you people on the left are crazy. You’re absolutely f**king crazy.”

Their voices grew louder as they began shouting over each other. The video ends with Mace yelling, “Goodbye. Get out of my face. F**k you,” as the man walked away.

He fired back, calling her “a disgrace to this state” and a “nasty b***h” twice.

Mace responded with more expletives: “Get the f**k out of my face! F**k you! F**k you! You couldn’t take me on, baby.”

In the caption accompanying the video, Mace wrote, “Some unhinged lunatic, a man, wearing daisy dukes, at a makeup store, got in my face today. Dems are nuts. So I went off – and I won’t be backing down. I hold the line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Try me."

Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st congressional district, is one of several Republican lawmakers facing increased scrutiny and confrontation from constituents, particularly at public events, amid growing backlash over President Donald Trump’s policies and cuts to government programs.
