LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Recently surfaced surveillance footage of Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly abusing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016, has opened a lock gate of several memories as the rapper’s ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton has also broken her silence.

Hylton, who dated the music mogul over 30 years ago in the early 1990s, finally shared her opinion as she said the disturbing video footage of the music mogul physically assaulting Cassie has “triggered her own trauma.”

Hylton, who has a son, Justin Combs, with Diddy, added, "I know exactly how she feels."

Misa Hylton breaks silence on the Diddy matter

On Friday, May 17, CNN released a surveillance video footage of the Bad Boy Records founder kicking and dragging Cassie on the hotel corridor. He was also seen hurling objects toward the 37-year-old musician.

After the video came out, several Hollywood stars not only condemned the act but also shared their own trauma of getting abused.

Hylton, who was Diddy’s first public relationship, has also joined the growing number of celebrities who spoke out against the ‘Last Night’ singer.

Sharing two snaps of all of Diddy’s children (he shares seven children with four different women), the 51-year-old fashion stylist said, “I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her.”

She then continued to share her own horror, saying, “I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma," per Daily Mail.

Referring to Diddy’s young children, she shared, “These young people were raised by women that want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams.”

“Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them,” added the fashion designer.

She continued, “Their father needs help and I am praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it.”

Hylton's experience also supports the assertions of Diddy's former head of security, Roger Bonds, who stated that the 'Coming Home' rapper has been violent towards women "four or five times," expressing no surprise at the video.

Referring to the video released by CNN, he shared in an interview with Piers Morgan, “It didn’t surprise me when I saw it because I’ve seen things to this nature before," before adding, “I’ve gotten in between things of this nature before — and this was back in 2012.”

When Morgan asked him how many times he had seen Diddy showing such violence, Bonds replied, “Around four or five times.”

He went on to explain, “I’ve seen him [be violent] with Cassie and I’ve seen him with Kim Porter, his kid’s mother," and alleged, "I’ve seen him get physical. I’ve seen him get really physical, grab them up.”
