LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicole Kidman's red carpet moment, labeled 'rude' by netizens, has quickly overshadowed her performance in 'Babygirl' for which she earned critical praise.

During the Q&A, the 'Eyes Wide Shut' actress asked the reporter to repeat their outlet’s name, Pop Crave, then shrugged, glanced off-camera, and laughed loudly, suggesting the name still didn’t ring a bell.

The clip went viral on social media and people had mixed reactions to her moment with the interviewer.

During an interview with Variety, Nicole Kidman explained whether 'Babygirl' can be considered a stereotypical Christmas film. She said, "Let’s hope so. Somebody thinks it is. A24 is very subversive. They seem to go against the grain always, so maybe [Christmas] is the right time."

However, her co-star Harry Dickson said, "It’s absolutely a Christmas movie. I didn’t know it was going to be, but it turned out to be so I’m going with it."

Director Halina Reijn mentioned, "Definitely, as far as I’m concerned. It has Christmas trees, it has Christmas songs. Of course, you can’t take everybody to this movie, but you can definitely go with your friends or with your partner and have an amazing time."

She added, "We’ve had screenings where couples were saying, ‘We’re going home,’ because they were inspired."

Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek's viral Paris Fashion Week moment

A brief interaction between Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek at Paris Fashion Week in October set off a whirlwind of speculation, with fans and media buzzing about a potential rift between the two stars.

The moment showed Kidman walking away from Hayek, fueling rumors of tension. However, insiders explained that the incident was a misunderstanding fueled by intense media pressure, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The video shows Nicole Kidman seemingly swatting Hayek’s hand away as they, alongside Katy Perry, posed for photos. Many believed the gesture was a sign of animosity.

However, an insider said that the clip only captured a small part of a much larger scene, with no conflict between the two actresses. The insider claimed, "There is no issue. This was just a snippet that doesn't represent reality. There is a photo of them posing together. Nothing happened."

The source added, "They were talking about something concerning advice and having a pow-wow – while being bombarded and yelled at and surrounded from all angles by cameras. They just wanted to go. They are friends and are fine despite what anyone thinks."
