Nicole Kidman opens up about love, introversion, and the joy of being surprised by Keith Urban
Revealing her relationship dynamic with Grammy Award-winning singer Urban, Kidman told Allure last month, “I’m working on being more extroverted, but my deep nature is a little introverted and shy. It’s not a fun place to be, but Keith's helped me. Even getting older, I think, you really start to expand rather than go inward.”
In December 2024, the 'Big Little Lies' actress also told PEOPLEthat she enjoys “being asked out, which he [Urban] still does.”
“Seven nights ago, we went to dinner in New York. We love Japanese food, but I'm open [to everything]. I like not knowing where he’s going to take me. Surprise me, baby!” she added.
Then in January 2025, Kidman spoke with W Magazine and shared the secret to her happy married life.
Nicole Kidman feels ‘lucky’ to have Keith Urban
“I hear Keith [Urban, her husband] singing in the shower, and I’ll hear his new songs forming. We have a double shower. The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage. Separate commodes and a double-headed shower!” she said.

In April last year, the Oscar winner also told PEOPLE, “I’m so lucky that I have Keith, who’s just my love — my deep, deep love.”
Kidman also spoke about raising their two daughters.
“I'm raising a soon-to-be 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who are divine. They're just lovely people, and I'm so lucky that I have Keith. That gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back.”
