OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA: Nikki Bella was seen publicly for the first time since her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, was arrested for domestic violence, and her missing wedding ring is raising eyebrows about the state of their marriage.

The former WWE star was photographed boarding a private plane at San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport, with her 4-year-old son Matteo, as reported by Page Six.

The pair appeared to be headed to Las Vegas, where Bella is scheduled to co-host Netflix's live hotdog eating competition, 'Chestnut vs Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef', on Monday.

While Bella sported a big grin and a hat pulled low over her eyes, it was her bare ring finger that caught the most attention.

The absence of her wedding ring comes after a tumultuous week that saw Chigvintsev's arrest in Napa, California, on Thursday morning for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.

According to a radio dispatch obtained by TMZ, Chigvintsev himself called 911 to request medical assistance after an altercation with Bella, during which he claimed she threw shoes at him. Although he later canceled the emergency request, the police still arrived on the scene about an hour later, leading to his arrest.

Chigvintsev was released later that day on $25,000 bail.

Insiders have noted that the couple's relationship has been volatile for years, with the arrest not coming as a surprise to those close to them.
