BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Comedian Jo Koy faced an online backlash when he cracked a joke during the 2024 Golden Globes, which was met with an uncomfortable response from the talented pop star, Taylor Swift.

The 'Karma' hitmaker seemingly didn't appreciate Koy's humor regarding her new relationship and the worldwide attention it's receiving.

His joke, comparing the Golden Globes to the NFL, led observers to perceive a look of 'disgust' on the singer's face.

She was observed taking a sip from her drink as a reaction to the uncomfortable joke at the event.

Koy, who hosted this year's Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, inserted a joke while presenting the awards, recognizing that Swift, 34, was among the celebrities present at the event.

Swift, who was seated next to Keleigh Sperry, the wife of Miles Teller, maintained a poker face as Koy alluded to the buzz she creates when she shows up at Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs games.

"The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL – on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift," Koy quipped. "I swear, there's just more to go to."

As the camera shifted to capture Swift's reaction to the joke, she was seen taking a sip from her drink, showing no discernible response to Koy's remarks.

Swift and Kelce were initially connected in September when she was spotted at a Chiefs game in Kansas City.

Their relationship has since been in the spotlight, with the couple spending both Christmas and New Year's Eve together.

Swift even brought her family to cheer on Kelce at his Christmas Day game, and the duo welcomed 2024 with a viral kiss.
