Oliver Tree's girlfriend remembers him on what would have been his 33rd birthday
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Oliver Tree has been remembered by his girlfriend, Fiona Chernavskaya, on the occasion of his birthday, just days after his death.
The musician would have turned 33 on Monday, June 29, had he not been killed in a fatal mid-air helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 14.

Chernavskaya honored him posthumously by sharing several photos on her Instagram Stories. She also posted clips of the ‘Life Goes On’ singer performing on stage, along with a behind-the-scenes moment.
The fashion stylist ended the heartfelt tribute by posting a collage of Tree’s photos alongside the text, “33 like Jesus”.
Chernavskaya’s touching post came days after she paid tribute to him following his death alongside five others identified as Gaspar Prim Díaz, Lucas Vignale, Lucas Brito Chaves, Alexandre Souza, and Charles Marsillac.

In a social media post featuring multiple photos of the two together, she wrote, “To my best friend We traveled to 43 countries, and all 7 continents together. The magic, inspiration and joy you brought to my life and others, will never be forgotten or replaced.”
“You’d always tell me when we argued, if things don’t work out in this lifetime, you will find me in the next. i love you buggy,” Chernavskaya added.

In an Instagram Story, she also slammed critics who questioned her relationship with Tree.
Chernavskaya first thanked supporters and well-wishers, writing, “Thank you for all the kind words. I appreciate every ounce of support at this time. There are so many who have been affected by his passing, please show them love too.”
“And please have some respect for my privacy. We kept our relationship very intimate. What I really don’t need is to see gossip about other women that Oliver may have been seeing. We were monogamous. Right now, I’m mourning my partner and best friend; anything else is unimportant. Please have some respect,” she stated.
The ‘When I'm Down’ singer’s former girlfriend, Melanie Martinez, also said she was devastated by his death.
“Been an absolute wreck today. It's hard to understand how someone with whom you once shared such a specific and formative time of your life can all of a sudden be gone. I think everyone who knew him will look back at those moments of laughter and joy he so easily sparked,” she said online.
