LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are celebrating a beautiful milestone — the arrival of their second child! The couple broke the joyful news on Instagram. They are already parents to their adorable 2-year-old son, Malcolm Hiep Mulaney, born on November 24, 2021.

The announcement comes just a few months after the couple's intimate wedding ceremony in July, held at a friend's home in New York. Notably, the sweet addition to the family arrives during a challenging time for Munn, who is battling breast cancer.

Olivia Munn, 44, and her husband John Mulaney, 42, are overjoyed to announce the birth of their daughter via gestational surrogate on September 14.

The couple shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday, September 22, with Munn penning a heartfelt post featuring a photo of herself holding their newborn in a hospital room while sitting on Mulaney's lap.

“Méi June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon🐉,” she wrote, reflecting on the deep emotions she felt about being unable to carry her daughter.

She expressed her gratitude for their gestational surrogate, whom she described as a "real-life angel," emphasizing their relationship as mothers.

"I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true."

Munn also revealed the meaning behind her daughter's name, saying, “I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded.”

She explained that "Mei" (pronounced may) means plum in Chinese.

Her post included touching photos of baby Mei, including one where the actress cradled her daughter by a large window, as well as a family shot of the four of them gazing at the ocean.

Mulaney joined in on the celebration with his own Instagram post, humorously noting, "We stole so much stuff from the hospital," while expressing his love for his little girl.

He shared the correct pronunciation and meaning of Mei’s name with a purple heart and included a video of the baby spitting up on his shirt as he burped her.
