'Overbearing' Kris Jenner meddling in Kylie Jenner's relationship with 'ultimate catch' Timothee Chalamet, claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kris Jenner, the momager to six of her ultra-famous children, is reportedly meddling way too much for Kylie Jenner’s liking in the makeup mogul’s relationship with Timothee Chalamet.
Recently, an insider spoke to Star per OK! Magazine about Kris’s alleged interference in Kylie’s relationship with the ‘Dune’ star.
Kris Jenner thinks Timothee Chalamet is ultimate catch
Sharing the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch’s view on the 28-year-old Oscar-nominated actor, the source recently shared with the outlet, "Kris thinks he’s the ultimate catch.”
"He has huge star power along with this intellectual cachet, and Kris thinks he can elevate the family into a classier social category,” explained the tipster.
They further added that Kris has also been trying to secure brand deals for the ‘Wonka’ actor, along with inviting him to family events without consulting with Kylie.
The mole dished out that the 26-year-old found her mother’s eager antics "so overbearing", while commenting, "Kris has meddled in every one of Kylie’s relationships."
Kylie and Chalamet sparked romance rumors just a year ago in April 2023 when an insider shared with a news outlet that the businesswoman was "having fun" and "getting to know" the actor after "years of back and forth with Travis [Scott],” with whom she shares two children.
After spending time together at the 2023 Coachella, they confirmed their romance when the pair was spotted kissing during Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour’ concert in Los Angeles in September.
They were also spotted together multiple other times including at the Golden Globes and US Open.
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet may have drifted apart
Earlier this month, a source shared with InStyle per OK! Magazine, the two young stars may have drifted apart.
A source revealed, "They’re hardly together anymore,” before adding, “One might even say they’re on a break. Their lives got busy, and they drifted apart. Of course, once their schedules quiet down, that could all change."
Nevertheless, the insider dished out, “They still care about each other, so maybe they’ll pick up where they left off. Or maybe it will be out of sight, out of mind.”
After a passionate Golden Globes outing, when the ‘Little Women’ actor failed to be present during the launch of Kylie’s canned vodka launch, fans started to speculate about the fate of their relationship.
During that time, a source close to the couple shared with Daily Mail, "Timothée didn't like all the attention he got from the Golden Globes, and the kiss took away attention for the real reason he was there.”
The insider claimed, "His career is taking off and he wants to protect it and let it thrive based on his talent — not on who he is or isn’t dating. He also wants to protect his relationship with Kylie."
