WASHINGTON, DC: A pastor has sparked attention after claiming in a recent podcast appearance that he had a late-night phone call with Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump.
Pastor Stuart Knechtle said that Barron is very close to embracing Christianity and recounted the phone conversation he had with the 19-year-old.
Pastor Stuart Knechtle recalls conversation with Barron Trump
Speaking on 'The George Janko Show', Knechtle said, “I was talking on the phone with Barron Trump at 12.30 at night.”
"He's very close to putting his faith in Christ, very close.... Anyway, I think it shows the power of dreams and revelations that ambiguity, not certain other times when it does feel certain, God could still close the door, and then to people who are not believers see them and say, 'Wow, okay, there could be something to that," he noted.
Knechtle claimed that Barron listened and shared his stance, and the one thing that "stuck" with him was the pastor's friend's story. Knechtle said that the friend is in Africa, and he noticed that thousands of Muslims were supposedly converting to Christianity because they had dreams and revelations of Jesus Christ.
Barron found the story "very interesting," and the pastor told the podcast hosts that he hoped the 19-year-old was positively affected by the conversation.

Barron was baptized; however, he is not associated with any church. His father used to be a Presbyterian. Then, in 2020, the POTUS announced that he identified as a non-denominational Christian.
Recently, after the annual National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, the president spoke about unity and faith. In his remarks, Trump not only emphasized Christian faith and holiday spirit but also touched on recent national trauma.
“With the birth of Jesus, human history turned from night to day. His word and his example call us to love one another, to serve one another, and to honor the sacred truth that every child is made in the image of God,” Trump said with the White House in the background.
With the first lady, Melania Trump, by his side, he invoked biblical imagery to reinforce his message of national cohesion.
