Recently, a source close to the ‘Yellowstone’ star spilled to Radar Online that the TV cowboy has not taken the break up kindly and is pining after his ex, to the extent that he is often left dialing her number at night with “drink in hand".
As per reports, the 69-year-old Costner’s romance with the 50-year-old songstress went kaput a few months ago, but the Oscar winner is still fixated on winning her back.

Kevin Costner is reportedly left distraught after his breakup with the ‘Down So Long’ singer, revealed a source close to him.
The actor reportedly dated Jewel for a few months after his contentious divorce from his wife Christine Baumgartner.
However, the ‘Horizon’ star’s split from Jewel has been tough on the actor, with the source spilling, "He really had high hopes of settling down with her but nothing he does seems to work.”
The insider further added that his friends are not supporting his behavior, with them thinking “it's pathetic.”
“But after he has a drink or two, he seems to think anything is possible,” shared the source before noting, "It doesn't happen every night, but often enough to be a bother.”
They further emphasized, “He's not used to being rejected, and Jewel jilting him after his wife dumped him for his friend did a number on his ego.”
This has come specifically as a blow to the ‘Dances With Wolves’ star, as he has never had to struggle to woo a lover.
"In years gone by, all Kevin had to do was walk in a room to get the girl. A lot of women find him attractive, including Sharon Stone, but he wants the one he can't have – Jewel – and it's frustrating him,” added the mole.
"No one would blame him for feeling down and wanting to call Jewel late at night, drink in hand,” mused the tipster, before concluding, “but he's really not doing himself any favors.”

Kevin Costner's struggle with coming to terms with his breakup from Jewel came just a few days after another tipster spilled that 'The Bodyguard' star still harbors resentment toward his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.
Speaking to Radar Online, the source spilled, "Kevin can't stand the thought of spending time and breaking bread with Christine" during the holiday season "after everything she put him through."
"Kevin still harbors resentment and anger toward Christine. She's far from his biggest fan, too. It is still so bitter between them," continued the insider, before noting, "Kevin used to look forward to the holidays, as Christine made everything so beautiful, but now he's dreading it."
They added, "Though he has to keep a straight face for the sake of his kids, who he clearly loves."
While Costner's relationship post his divorce did not blossom further, Christine's relationship with Costner's ex-pal Josh Connor is reportedly blooming.
Another source revealed previously that Christine and Connor "are together all the time and the talk among their mutual friends is that they're moving toward an official engagement and wedding."
