NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Minority owner of the New York Yankees Patrick Bet-David shared his opinion on the high-profile divorce between NFL legend Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen on his podcast on Friday, October 31, reported Marca.

He believed that the couple comprised a pair of "alphas," and claimed that it introduced ongoing tension within their dynamic. He focused on Bundchen having greater online following and financial assets compared to Brady and hinted that it might have had an effect on the relationship to back up his argument.

"I think she thought she was bigger than Brady," Bet-David said. "Go on Instagram. Who's got more followers? I think it's probably her. I think she probably thinks, 'I'm more famous than you'."

The level of popularity is reflective of their assets. While Brady's estimated net worth stands at $250 million, his former wife enjoys almost $400 million.

Bet-David believes Bundchen's financial independence provided her the opportunity to reevaluate her life choice and choose to separate herself from Brady.
