Patrick Mahomes reveals sweet way how Taylor Swift and his 3-year-old daughter Sterling bond

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI: During a recent appearance on 'The Drive' podcast, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared a surprising detail about his 3-year-old daughter, Sterling.

According to Mahomes, Sterling has been spending a lot of time in the kitchen with none other than Taylor Swift, who began dating his teammate, Travis Kelce, last summer, as reported by Page Six.

“Sterling is a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes,” two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes revealed.

While Swift hasn’t baked anything "specifically" for him, he has sampled some of the 'Fortnight' singer’s baking creations, describing them as delicious.

“It is as good as everybody has talked about,” he added.

Swift, who is known to bake homemade treats, has become good friends with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes. The Mahomes family has grown close to Swift because of her relationship with Kelce.

Patrick and Brittany have two children - Sterling and 1-year-old son Bronze. The couple is now expecting their third child.

Of course, Patrick isn’t the only one to enjoy Taylor Swift’s baking.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared earlier this year that Swift had made homemade Pop-Tarts for Kelce and the team’s offensive linemen during the 2023 season.

“She likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Reid explained. While Reid himself didn’t get a taste, the gesture left an impression on the team.

Swift also baked Kelce his favorite cinnamon rolls at the beginning of their romance, a detail Kelce confirmed in a June interview, calling her homemade treats "great." The Grammy winner’s culinary talents seem to have become a regular part of the couple’s life as they bond over food.

Beyond baking, Swift has also been expanding Kelce’s palate. The NFL star, who once described himself as a “picky eater,” shared on his 'New Heights' podcast that Swift has introduced him to new cuisines, including Israeli dishes and lighter curries. Although he’s still hesitant when it comes to certain textures, Kelce admits that his culinary horizons have grown since dating Swift.

“She’s introducing new foods to you, and it has been one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about,” his brother Jason Kelce noted during the podcast, to which Travis agreed with a laugh.

According to insiders speaking to Page Six, Swift, along with her father Scott, organized a secret celebration at Noka, a trendy Kansas City sushi restaurant. Joining the couple were Kelce’s family and close friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.

The dinner was reportedly a quiet affair, as the Kansas City Chiefs had a game the following day. Noka, known for its exclusive atmosphere and popular dishes like miso cod and dry-aged duck, is typically closed on Sundays—except for private bookings like this one.

The couple has been spotted at Noka before, sparking rumors that the restaurant holds special significance for them.
