In an interview with Page Six, the 31-year-old comedian shared, “It was pretty humiliating and upsetting, honestly.”

Despite dating being common in Hollywood, Davidson said he faced unique criticism. “Everyone is dating everyone... but because I’m ugly, they wrote about me. I was harassed for like, five years and it made my life a living hell,” he said.

The comedian expressed frustration that his career achievements were eclipsed by headlines about his love life.

“It’s embarrassing because you want people to write about your work,” he said.

Davidson, who was one of the youngest-ever cast members on 'Saturday Night Live', lamented that his talent was often overlooked.

“All that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating," he shared.

Pete Davidson's high-profile romantic history

Pete Davidson’s relationships have been widely publicized since his whirlwind engagement to Ariana Grande in 2018.
