Post Malone makes surprise visit to Pizza Hut and drops $1200 tip
A shift manager at Pizza Hut, Kolby Agulia, gave a 43-second interview with Fox 13 Utah to share the details of Post Malone's surprise visit.
Malone arrived at the Pizza Hut just as employees were preparing to open on the morning of Saturday, January 25.
Agulia explained that he heard a knock on the door but did not immediately recognize the familiar face.
"I didn’t think it was him at first, and then I opened the door," Agulia recalled.
When he realized it was Post Malone, he was "starstruck".
"He asked me, 'Are you guys open?' I said, 'We’re open for you, man!'" said Agulia.
He admitted he "couldn’t believe" that Malone was standing there in front of him.
Once inside, Malone didn’t hold back. He ordered three medium cheese pizzas, an extra-large cheese pizza, 24 boneless wings, and a large cheesesteak. While waiting for his order, Malone chatted with employees and took pictures, leaving fans impressed.
Agulia shared, "I had a good conversation with him while his pizzas were in the oven. He was just asking me things about life."
After the order was packed up, Malone surprised the team with a $1,200 tip.
Agulia, in disbelief, said, "I looked at him, I said, like, I was shocked. I was, like, I couldn't take that, and he handed me it. I was thankful, I shook his hand and I got a picture with him."
In a video shared on TikTok, the interviewer asked Agulia if he hoped Malone would return. The manager enthusiastically replied, "Yeah! He said he loves Pizza Hut." He added, "He told me he lives literally around the corner, so he’s gonna try swinging back some other time."
