Joe Biden accuses Trump and his MAGA friends of dividing people, Internet asks for 'new narrative'
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: President Joe Biden stepped up his actions against his likely opponent Donald Trump by accusing the former president and his MAGA supporters of dividing the people of the United States, reported ABC News.
Addressing his supporters at a get-out-the-vote rally in North Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, February 4, the President said, "Trump and his MAGA friends are dividing us, not uniting us. Dragging us back to the past, not leading us in the future."
"Refusing to accept the results of a general election and seeking, as Trump says, to terminate -- his words -- 'terminate' elements to the US Constitution. You tell me that democracy is not at risk?" Biden asked.

Right from announcing his re-election bid, the incumbent has focused on the former president's drawbacks, especially his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection. He also alleged that Trump is a danger to democracy.
Biden has sharpened his attacks against his predecessor, considering the latter's position as a clear frontrunner after the Iowa and New Hampshire wins. Trump is leading the GOP primaries with dominant support ahead of his only opponent Nikki Haley.
Similarly, Biden has no strong opposition from the Democratic Party, as proved by his overwhelming victory in the South Carolina primary on February 3.
Joe Biden asserts he has little choice but to win
Doubling down on his anti-MAGA message, the President told a cheering crowd that everyone should "stand for the truth and defeat the lies" and elucidate that Americans still believe in "honesty, decency, dignity, and respect."

During the speech, a woman shouted from the crowd and urged Biden to win the presidential election, to which, he responded, "That's the reason why I'm running ... We have to ... It's not much of a choice."
The incumbent also doubled down on his attacks against Trump over the latter's alleged insulting remarks about fallen American soldiers.
"To call my son, and your sons and daughters, who gave their lives to this country, 'suckers' and 'losers', that's how this guy thinks. Who the hell does he think he is?" the President lashed out.
On the other hand, Trump also ramped up his scathing criticisms against his success of border crisis management.
The ex-president, in a recent campaign ad, accused Biden caused the worsening crisis at the US-Mexico border, where illegal immigration is at a record high.
In addition, the Republican frontrunner also slammed the long-awaited bipartisan border bill, which was unveiled on February 4, calling it a "Death Wish" for the Republican Party.
