Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent hefty amount on Democrat operatives including 'disinformation guru'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly spent thousands of dollars on Democrat-leaning political operatives to counter "disinformation."
According to a report published by the New York Post, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent enormous sums through their California-based nonprofit, The Archewell Foundation. This included a donation of $250,000 to a charity set up by former President Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley Biden, in 2023.

The royal couple also reportedly paid a significant amount to Joire Craig, a "disinformation expert" favored by the Democratic Party, as per the Daily Mail.

According to the outlet, the Sussexes donated to Ashley Biden’s charity, Women's Wellness Space, established to help women impacted by trauma, in 2023, a year before it opened its doors in 2024.
Moreover, the "disinformation expert" Craig, 33, received $146,500 from the Archewell Foundation in 2023. In another year, Craig - who is the Democrats' go-to person for "countering disinformation" - raked in $120,000 from the charity.
Harry and Meghan's reported donation also includes a $25,000 payment to the Mercy Lab School in Brooklyn in 2022, of which Craig has been a board member since last year.
Per Craig's LinkedIn profile, she is an expert in "designed and deployed Smart Social Listening – strategies for political candidates, public officials, community leaders, and corporate leaders to stay on offense."
Though the Sussexes chose not to publicly endorse a candidate during the 2024 presidential election, this latest report came at the heels of President Donald Trump's remarks about Harry's US visa status. The 78-year-old told the New York Post that he would not be deporting the 'Spare' author because "he's got enough problems with his wife," calling Meghan "terrible."

The couple's donations further included payments to Democrat megadonor George Soros' Open Society Foundation's non-profit, Markup News Inc, and another one set up by Craigslist founder Craig Newmark.
Another firm, Herlihy Loughran, also reportedly took home $155,050 from the Archewell Foundation. The organization, set up by former Buckingham Palace aides Beth Herlihy and Clara Loughran, deserves itself as an "advisory partnership that links influential people and organizations to good causes."
Nile Gardiner says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'should not be engaging' in political activities
As the reports came out, conservative commentator and a fellow of the conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation, Nile Gardiner, told the New York Post that he was lobbying for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s donations to be scrutinized by Congress.
He claimed, "Harry and Meghan still retain royal titles and should not be engaging in any way in political activity. It’s actually outrageous."
Nevertheless, a spokesperson for the Sussexes refuted Gardiner's points, saying that it would be "misguided" to criticize their spending.

In a statement to the outlet, Harry and Meghan's representative said, "It’s important to note The Duke and Duchess did not endorse any candidate in the [2024 presidential] election."
"And to suggest they’re trying to curry favor with the Democratic Party — simply because a donation went to Ashley Biden’s nonpartisan nonprofit focused on women’s mental health, or because they hired a consultant specializing in digital safety — is misguided," highlighted the statement.
The representative further noted, "The Duke and Duchess are committed to investing in people and initiatives that truly make a difference."
