Prince Harry sparks Friar Tuck comparisons after his thinning hair grabs spotlight in Netflix docu ‘Polo’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite the very public rift with his elder brother Prince William, Prince Harry has something in common with the future monarch of England.
Recently, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle made an appearance in the critically panned five-part documentary series about polo, titled ‘Polo’.
The Netflix docuseries, which came as one of the offerings from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s $100 million deal with the streaming giant, became memorable to viewers for at least one reason.

While the series failed to garner positive reviews from the critics, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that as the ‘Spare’ author turned 40, he is -inescapably and gradually - going bald.
Prince Harry’s bald spot becomes talking point of ‘Polo’
After the release of the documentary 'Polo', eagle-eyed viewers quickly took to social media to opine that at the rate at which Prince Harry's hair is thinning, he will soon resemble Friar Tuck, a popular character in Robin Hood folklore.
Friar Tuck is one of the closest companions of the legendary outlaw hero, Robin Hood. He is described as half-bald with sideburns and thick eyebrows.
With his recently burgeoning bald spot, Harry joins his brother William, the Prince of Wales, in the same struggle to keep up with their thinning hair.
The 42-year-old Prince William, who has had his fair struggle with a balding head, was also recently named the ‘world’s sexiest bald man’ second year in a row.
In his memoir, Harry acknowledged both the brothers’ struggle, while saying, William’s thinning hair was “alarming".
He further added that the Prince of Wales’ thinning was more “advanced than mine,” per Vanity Fair.
Prince Harry's thinning hair sets Internet abuzz
The Internet was not sympathetic toward Prince Harry as more than one social media user said the duke had started to look like Friar Tuck.
A user mocked, "Explain to me how he was chosen one of the most handsome bla bla bla…. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢."

"Friar Tuck? Is that you?," questioned another user referencing the character from Robin Hood's bunch of Merry Men.
Someone else chimed in, "The transplant obviously didn’t take. Seeds can’t grow in barren soil."
