Prince Louis' sweet secret message for Kate Middleton's parents at carol concert melts fans' hearts
LONDON, UK: Prince Louis spread some Christmas cheer with a sweet message for his grandparents, Michael and Carole Middleton, at the fourth annual "Together at Christmas" carol service. The event took place on Friday, December 6, outside Westminster Abbey in London.
Accompanied by his siblings, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9, Prince Louis, 6, placed his handwritten note on the "Kindness Tree." The heartwarming moment was part of the festive celebration hosted by Kate Middleton, which aimed to highlight the importance of kindness during the holiday season, PEOPLE reported.

Prince Louis wrote in the note, "Thank you to Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me."
Notably, the members of the Middleton family have always maintained an active role in Kate's life, and the lives of her children. Carole, 69, and Michael, 75, attended the "Together at Christmas" carol service, which Kate hosted, along with her siblings James Middleton and Pippa Middleton.
Moreover, royal sources have always spoken highly of the Middleton family's involvement in the lives of Kate and her children. An insider told PEOPLE, "Her parents are an enduring factor in the upbringing of their grandchildren," and described the Middletons as a "constant presence in their grandchildren's lives, often having George, Charlotte and Louis over for sleepovers."
Interestingly, Carole has also been long been open about her desire to be a very hands-on grandmother. She told Good Housekeeping in 2021, "I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground. As long as I am able to, that's what I'll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides."

Her emotions were met with an empathetic response from performer Paloma Faith. She repeated the phrase, adding, "The unplanned, exactly. But I think lots of people this year have had such challenging times."
The mother of three, who opened up about her cancer diagnosis in March, has slowly been stepping back into public life after months of focusing on her health and family.
