Prince William 'done with Harry' as his royal reconciliation plea intentionally sidelined: Expert

LONDON, ENGLAND: Prince William has reportedly chosen a deliberate silence in response to Prince Harry’s latest interview, in which he wished for a reconciliation with his father and brother.
The Prince of Wales no longer discusses his brother and wants the topic avoided altogether.
Prince William 'doesn’t talk about Harry anymore,' says royal source
According to a royal insider, William has chosen to remain quiet about his brother’s public comments.
“William doesn’t talk about Harry anymore,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Everyone knows it’s a subject that they shouldn’t bring up, so he hasn’t brought up the interview and won’t.”

The insider was referencing Prince Harry’s BBC News interview on May 2, where the Duke of Sussex claimed that King Charles III “won’t speak with me” over the security issue and suggested the royal family played a role in the recent court ruling against him.
Harry lost his legal effort to regain government-funded protection in the UK for himself and Meghan Markle.
“William is done with Harry,” the source continued. “When he becomes King, everybody thinks the divide will become even wider.”
Prince Harry says ‘life is precious’ amid call to reconcile with King Charles
Despite the growing distance, Harry expressed a desire to repair his relationship with his father.
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” Harry said during the BBC interview. “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”

Harry’s public statement about the king’s health sparked commentary from royal author Christopher Andersen, who saw the remarks as more than just a peace offering.
“If Harry really wants to reconcile with his family, he has an odd way of showing it,” said Andersen, who has written multiple books on the royal family.

Prince Harry delivered 'coup de grace' with his remarks
Harry’s interview followed his failed legal appeal in a London court, where he accused the royal family of interfering in his fight to maintain security.
“He slams his father for interfering in the trial, then says the palace rigged the outcome, then accuses the royal family of not caring about the safety of his wife and children, and winds up declaring that for now he can’t foresee any scenario in which he would take his family to the UK,” Andersen said.

“Harry delivered the coup de grace when he said he wanted to bury the hatchet with his father because he doesn’t know how much time the king has left to live,” Andersen added.
