Notably, Trachtenberg and Eugenie's friendship dates back to 2013 when the princess lived in New York City and the duo attended a New York Knicks basketball game together.

However, the royal went back to England a few years later after she married Jack Brooksbank, according to Parade.

Trachtenberg posted a picture of the two on Instagram in March 2016 and captioned it, "There are few people in life that you meet that you know are true and real. This lady happens to be one of them. Friends really do mean a lot. Happy #stpatricksday May luck of love and friends be with you."

The medical examiner explained that an autopsy would have been performed if there were any suspicion of foul play, but there wasn't any in her case.

The source said, "She just had the classic story of childhood stardom. She had a couple roles throughout the last decade, but nothing of real note."

"She really pulled back from Hollywood in the last eight years. She was a great girl who just never got her footing, just like many childhood stars," the insider added.
