HAMDEN, CONNECTICUT: Rapper Fatman Scoop’s final words after he collapsed on stage have been revealed by the DJ who was performing with him at that time.

DJ Bink-B, who was performing alongside Scoop, recently revealed the final nine words spoken by the rapper, which showed his dedication toward music and entertaining his audience.

Fatman Scoop, whose real name was Isaac Freeman III, met a tragic death on Friday, August 30, after collapsing on stage while performing at Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. He was 53 years old.

Fatman Scoop’s final words revealed

Revealing the nine words spoken by ‘Suelta’ hitmaker Fatman Scoop, DJ Bink-B shared with NBC Connecticut in an interview, “He looked out at me and said he was like ‘Bink. Keep the music on. Keep the music on.’”

“That’s how much he loved entertaining people,” said the DJ, as reported by Heavy.

Previously, The Mirror revealed that before collapsing on stage, Scoop appeared out of breath and slurring his words. 

Per the outlet, Scoop’s last words before his collapse were, “I said Hamden make some noise!” He added, “If you came to party, make some noise.”

However, the outlet noted that he appeared breathless and was slurring his words before he collapsed and dropped his mic onto the ground.

The DJ informed NBC Connecticut that the rapper was responsive after he collapsed and was given CPR. He was rushed to the hospital where Scoop was announced dead the following day. 

No cause of death has yet been announced. 

DJ Bink-B revealed that Scoop “was actually having a great show".

"I actually had to DJ his show for him while he was running around, jumping around on stage.”

The New Haven DJ continued, “He was getting ready to tell me what the next song would be and then he just collapsed.”

“He was one of a kind. There’s nobody like him. Nobody does it like him,” he added, before concluding, “He passed away doing exactly what he loved to do. Entertaining the crowd. Being so dedicated to entertaining the crowd.”

Fatman Scoop had an energy drink before his performance

In another report, it was revealed that Fatman Scoop drank an energy drink before he took to the stage on Friday.

Sharron Elkabas, CEO of Fatman Scoop's public relations firm, revealed that though he "never drank energy drinks", he drank one before this show. 

 

Elkabas told The Hollywood Reporter that, "He had an energy drink before going on stage," quickly adding, "He never drank energy drinks, but he did before this show."
