Reason behind Kelly Clarkson's mysterious long absence from her talk show revealed

MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Kelly Clarkson's absence from her eponymous talk show left her fans worried about her whereabouts - but the real reason has now been finally revealed.

The singer has been missing from ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ since February 27, without any explanation. Concerns grew more when Simu Liu did an impromptu guest-hosting gig on March 3, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Simu Liu said while hosting the show, “Kelly actually isn’t able to make it today. We are sending her our very best, and here’s the thing –– I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived here to promote my new movie, 'Last Breath'.”

However, now sources have told TMZ that there’s nothing wrong with Clarkson’s health and she’s doing well, rather a personal matter that “does not directly involve her” is keeping her away from the show.

The tipsters also noted that Clarkson will take over her duties on Thursday, March 13.

The 42-year-old singer did return for her show on March 4 and 5 but again went missing.

Many stars took on hosting duty amid Kelly Clarkson’s absence

Apart from Liu, comedian Roy Wood Jr also hosted Clarkson’s show on February 28 and March 6.

Wanda Sykes and Josh Groban did the hosting job together on March 7 while Brooke Shields was seen as the host on March 10 and 11. March 12’s episode was handled by Willie Geist.

Though it has been said that Thursday’s episode will see Clarkson, Molly Sims is also listed as the host for the Thursday and Friday episodes of this week.

Also, March 18, 20 and 21 episodes will see Clarkson as the host but Kal Penn and Andy Cohen will do the remaining two episodes for next week.

Netizens claim Kelly Clarkson is ‘done’ with her show

Meanwhile, people online have shared their thoughts over the recent development.

An X user tweeted, “The show doesn't air the same day it is filmed, so even if Kelly comes back to the studio tomorrow, her new episodes won't air until next week, so don't be alarmed when you don't see Kelly hosting tomorrow's show.”

The second user claimed, “It’s plastic surgery matter.”
